Zoe's first hair cut.

Zoe got her first hair cut today. Isn't she adorable. She was such a big girl. She loves it and tells us that it is short every five minutes.

Oaks Park, amusement and fairground.

Happy Memorial Day! We went to Oaks Park today with our friends Caroline Shonk and their kids today. The kids had fun going on rides, eating junk and playing games. I had fun taking pictures and people watching. I guess the new thing is for teenage boys to wear girls pants. It is absolutely ridiculous if you ask me. It was a long day but everyone was good. Talk at y'all later.

Park testing.

We tested out a new park today. It was really big. It had open fields skate boarding, tennis, play equipment, and fountain. Of course the kids did the swings the most but we also posed like statues and just ran around on the grass. Oh and the fountain made Ethan have to urinate.

New fish.

If you have been following the blog you would know that we inherited two fish a couple of months ago. Well the fish was too big for the aquarium so we put them in a pond and have had an empty tank in the living room. So we got a tiny tank (2.5 gallons) , and the kids each picked out a female beta fish. Ethan's is blue and he named it Monkey. Zoe's is redish and she named it Pig.

Back at the house

After the zoo we met back at our house to eat lunch. The kids had fun checking out the baby and we used the tripod and got a picture of all of us.

The crazy zoo.

Noel's mom is in town and we went to the zoo today with her and our niece Natalie and her baby Leila. It was over 80 degrees and I think everyone in Portland was there. It was hard to stay together and even harder to see any animals. It was fun to spend time with everyone though. Enjoy the pictures.

Keep an eye out.

I told Ethan to make sure that he could see me or Noel at all times while at the zoo. He looked up at me with one eye open and said he would keep one of his eyes on us. Hilarious stuff.

Haircuts.

Ethan went to get a hair cut a couple days ago and at the last minute I decided to get mine cut to. Ethan looks so grown up, and handsome. Zoe wants her hair cut, so we will probably get it cut this weekend.

Tripod

Okay, so I got a tripod for the camera for mothers day. I asked for one and I got it. Soooo exciting. I tried to use it to take pictures of the moon tonight and got a little annoyed. Alright actually pissed as hell. Out of about 100 pictures I got 3 good ones. I can't figure out the shutter speed control on the camera. At least the tripod worked, I am just a dumb ass sometimes.

Lite Brite

The kids got a lite brite from their cousin Josie. I can't remember if I had one as a kid, but I am having fun with this one. It is in the shape of a cube so the kids each have a side so it minimizes the fighting. We don't have any paper for it yet so I rigged it with with printer paper.

To all the mothers.

I am so sorry I didn't call anyone on mothers day. We were driving to Washington. Anyway, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE. We love you all.

The Green House in Washington.

The kids call their Uncle Nicks house the green house, mostly because it is green. We went there for a couple of days and had alot of fun. The most fun we had was Nick had a bubble machine that made huge bubbles. They also have a trampoline and play castle. We even got to see Natalie's baby again. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
