Wednesday sunset at the beach.

Noel had work really close to the beach so
we took the opportunity to go see the sun set.
It was absolutely gorgeous. The kids had a
blast and slept the whole way home. It was
a nice break from our usual schedule and I
can't wait until the next trip to the beach.

Tuesday in a crazy week.

Did you know they had intercom systems in 1914?
I didn't. Noel and I went to Pittock Mansion today
for a tour. It was built in 1914 by the founder of
the Oregon newspaper. It was really neat to see
how they lived and realize I would hate to live in a
mansion, it was kind of creepy.

Zoe is at a sleep over tonight so I got some quality
time with Mr. E. I love the toothless grin.

7 on Thursday.

1. Zoe is really silly. I took about 50 pictures
of her and got about 3 without her tongue out.

2. Zoe is doing really good in school. She is learning
really fast and her penmanship is fantastic.



3. At some point the kids got a hold of my camera
and had some fun.




4. School can be really tiring.



5.I caught E reading in the car. He is about to finish
his first chapter book. He is loving school and is getting
big. He must be going through a growth spurt.



6. I am still alive. Sorry it has been a while since
I have posted.



7. Crissy is a bat dog.

Water babies!

We have been going to the pool everyday to keep cool and I finally remembered to bring the camera yesterday. The kids are getting braver by the day and very good at moving around in the water. I think they will be swimming on there own soon. Ethan can hold his breath for 7 seconds under the water. He is so proud of himself. He even does the breast stroke while in a floaty ring. Zoe will stand on her own and loves pushing off the walls to swim fast.

109 degrees!!

It got up to 109 today! I hate the heat! We have been staying cool by going to the pool and the local water park. I hope it isn't so hot where you are.

We have a swimming pool at our apartments that the kids go in pretty much daily. Gotta love Summer.
