Chinese Garden

Today we went to the Chinese Garden downtown. The kids were not on there best behavior so we didn't stay for a long time but I enjoyed it.

Biking and such

The kids have been riding there bikes alot the last couple weeks. Today was the first time they ever rode on the street. They were excited even though we only rode a fourth of a mile or so.

Beach

Beach fun. I can't believe September is almost over. It is finally raining here today. Yeah!

Zoe's songs episode 1

Ethan was explaining a book he read at school today, you may have heard of it, 5 little monkeys jumping on the bed. Zoe decided to make up her own lyrics to the jingle.

1 little monkey jumping on the bed, he fell off and smacked his head on the floor until his eyes bled.

I was laughing for a long time. She is so funny. I know it is gross but she is my daughter.

Zoe the Pink

I finally found some pink hair dye for Zoe. She loves her new hair color. Her hair is growing really fast and doing a natural fo-hawk. LOL. I love watching them grow.

Malibu Raceway

We took the kids to the racetrack this week. Ethan loved going as fast as his Dad could take him, and the car could go of course. Zoe was ok with it but she is smaller than Ethan and got slammed around a bit. Dad slowed down for Zoe and she liked it more the second lap. We all had a good time.

Carwash/Sept. Moon

We went through the car wash today and the kids had very different reactions. This wasn't there first time but it was fun to see them react. Zoe was very timid until we were out and Ethan was totally excited the whole time.

The moon was very orange tonight. Also very full.

Play day

We have been working so many hours lately that we haven't been able to really enjoy the summer like we wanted to. The kids have been so good we decided to have a play day today. They were outside all day. They went to two parks and played in the sprinkler. It has been in the high 80's to 90's for a couple days and isn't letting up anytime soon. I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
