Fish, Flowers, and Fun.

This post will have alot of pictures. Alot has been happening around here. I am now half way done with school and still have straight A's. Zoe named the big fish Cow, Ethan named the little one Harry. Noels hours got cut back for a month or so, meaning he can be home alot more. Zoe is so weird about wanting to sleep different places...one of the pictures to follow will be her sleeping in her toy hamper. We went to a rhododendron garden today, the flowers are magnificent and the kids like to feed and torment the ducks. It was also the first time that Ethan ever used a port-a-potty. He was excited because the brand is called Honey Bucket. I love Portland.

Growing family.

We inherited a 20 gallon fish tank last night, with two fish. $30.00 and half a bottle of bleach later we have a bigger family. I had to get new rocks, plants, filter, and tubing. The kids and I spent a couple hours scrubbing all the parts and the tank. The kids are really excited and they keep asking if they can pet the fish. One morning I will wake up to one of them inside the tank.

Finally summer time is here. I have been waiting for these flowers to bloom outside our apartment for a while. It's still raining on and off but the temperature has gone up alot. Be ready to see alot of outside pictures and activities.

Fake Rain

We were playing outside a little bit ago and Ethan asked me to make it rain on him. I got the hose out and he was being so funny I took some pictures of him. He was running in and out of the water screaming. Pure childlike joy. I love seeing the kids being really happy. Zoe was busy protecting here play princess camera under her shirt. Both the kids were excited to see rainbows and see if they could touch them in the water. And of course they can't play outside without peeing in the outside drain.

Cotton candy and rain don't mix. The picture of Zoe is the proof.
The zoo is always fun for us, even in the rain. Ethan was excited the had a new map.
We took it upon ourselves to name the sea otter Stanley.

The polar bears were very active. One was jumping an a plastic barrel.....don't ask me why. It looked like it was having fun.

Zoe was "pretty as a princess" all evening. She is so cute.

We had a picnic at the park today. It is supposed to rain for the next week so we took advantage of the good weather. The park is close to the zoo so the kids call it the zoo park. We ( the whole family) spent most of our time on the swings. As you can see the kids had alot of fun.

Ethan's wisdom

Ethan ran up to me and his dad yesterday and with a very serious look on his face he said "I need to talk to you." We said ok. He said "blah,blah,blah, or something." He then ran away to leave us laughing hysterically.

Father-son bonding

Like father like son. Ethan loves to be on the computer. It is rare that I can document these things. I love my boys.

Beach drive

On easter we decided it would be fun to drive to the beach even though it was rainy. We drove around for a bit and the kids got out of the car for a few minutes and we drove home. It was a beautiful drive and we had a great evening together.

Easter baskets

I never realized how hard the easter bunny worked. The kids had are having a great day. They got books, toys, and candy. Ethan really liked doing a egg hunt, Zoe not so much. We hope everyone else is having a great easter to.

Elefun

The Easter bunny brought a game called Elefun. Butterflies come out of the elephants trunk and you catch as many as you can. As you can see the kids really like the game. Noel had as much fun as the kids did. Happy Easter everyone.

How cute are these kids. They look innocent and loving right now but don't let that fool you. It has been unusually warm outside the last couple of days so we have been outside alot.

I am really liking playing with pictures on the computer. I just figured out that I can make collages with picasa. These are recent pictures that I love.
